Carola Aust MICHT, MLLAUK-1

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a “laying on of hands” healing technique that is used to restore a more balanced energy flow throughout the body. It involves the transfer of energy through the hands of the therapist to the client to improve the body's own naturally ability to heal itself.

REI - the most accepted definition of the word REI is that it means universal.

KI - Is the life force. It has been identified by all cultures and therefore has been given many other names. Like in Indian Sanskrit - Prana, in Hawaiian - Mana, and in Chinese Chi.  KI is the energy that animates and flows through all living things.

ReikiEarly Tibetan monks are thought to have used it and Dr Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist in 1922, rediscovered it in modern times.  He developed the Reiki Usui system, what is a very simple but powerful form of healing, which is easily received by anyone. According to Dr Mikao Usui, is the body more than just a collection of functional body parts. Everything, as well as the body and it organs are generating in frequencies. If the life force energy is low or even blocked, we are more prone to getting sick. This can cause symptoms like, fatigue, headaches, Migraines, back pain, insomnia, anxiety, depressions and more.

Because the REIKI energy is channeled through the hands of the therapist, the healer's own energies are never depleted. REIKI has its own intelligence, provides deep relaxation and knows where to go and what to do. It's always goes there, where its needed. The recipient simply lies on a couch, or when they at unable to lie on a couch, it can easily given in a relaxed sitting position. The client can experience heat weaves, cold flushes or a slight tingling through the body when receiving REIKI. Every person has different experience and no two REIKI sessions are ever the same. REIKI find its own way to heal.
